Zoya whose name means "Life" is a hand-sculpted African doll. The inspiration for her she is the representation of the mother who sends her children off to find food. She is too broken to go in search of herself, so she has to rely on her children to do so. She waits behind with her youngest by her side.
Materials. Newspaper, acorn, bamboo stick, fuzzy cotton yarn.
